In response to the strong political declaration adopted at the Second United Nations High-Level Meeting on Tuberculosis, to accelerate the high-quality development of science popularization and technological innovation during the 14th Five-Year Plan period by the China Association for Science and Technology, to promote new strategies and measures for tuberculosis control, to accelerate the application of new technologies and methods for latent tuberculosis infection screening and preventive treatment, and to strengthen the R&D and application of new TB vaccines, new molecular diagnostic technologies, and new shorter and more effective treatment regimens, the Chinese Anti-Tuberculosis Association will hold the 35th National Academic Congress and the 4th China Anti-Tuberculosis Science and Technology Award Ceremony in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province, from September 27 to 30, 2024.

The conference will invite academicians, representatives from the World Health Organization, and renowned experts in TB prevention and control at home and other multidisciplinary experts to deliver keynote and special reports, and mobilize TB professionals nationwide to conduct academic exchanges.
