On the afternoon of April 14, Wang Jianfeng, Deputy Secretary of the Xuzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Xuzhou, led a delegation to visit the Rocgene Xuzhou Production Base to conduct a special inspection on epidemic prevention and control and resumption of work and production. Gong Weifang and Lin Bin, Deputy Mayors of Xuzhou, accompanied the visit.

The delegation first affirmed the implementation of epidemic prevention and control measures at the production base. They then toured the factory area and inspected the production workshop, accompanied by Mr. Dai Tao, Director of the Production Base, who provided explanations.

Mayor Wang Jianfeng and his entourage focused on discussions regarding current production capacity, orders, and output, and listened to reports on industrial layout and production planning. Learning that the entire production base had been working overtime for months to meet frontline epidemic prevention demands across the country, Mayor Wang highly praised the “Iron Army” spirit of the team.

Mayor Wang expressed his gratitude again upon learning that, even under epidemic control measures in Xuzhou, the company had overcome numerous difficulties to maintain production and delivered thousands of nucleic acid testing devices to frontline epidemic prevention units in Jiangsu Province.

Mayor Wang fully affirmed the company’s current development. After learning in detail about employees’ daily lives, raw material transportation, production, and sales, he emphasized that the municipal government would strengthen communication and coordination with relevant departments, optimize service support, enhance guidance on epidemic prevention and work safety, and help resolve difficulties encountered in production.
