On December 1, 2023, GB/T 42753-2023 General Rules for Performance Evaluation of Real-time Fluorescent Quantitative PCR Instruments — China’s first national standard for fluorescent PCR equipment, released on May 23, 2023 — was officially implemented. Proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation, this standard was formulated under the leadership of Chinese Academy of Inspection and Quarantine, together with Beijing Physical and Chemical Analysis and Testing Center, National Institute of Metrology, Shanghai Institute of Measurement and Testing Technology, Rocgene and other institutions. Issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Standardization Administration of China, it provides unified guidelines and specifications for the industry.
