National standard 丨 The first fluorescence PCR equipment national standard was officially implemented! Rocgene participated in the formulation and contributed to Rocgene's strength

On December 1, 2023, GB/T 42753-2023 General Rules for Performance Evaluation of Real-time Fluorescent Quantitative PCR Instruments — China’s first national standard for fluorescent PCR equipment, released on May 23, 2023 — was officially implemented. Proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation, this standard was formulated under the leadership of Chinese Academy of Inspection and Quarantine, together with Beijing Physical and Chemical Analysis and Testing Center, National Institute of Metrology, Shanghai Institute of Measurement and Testing Technology, Rocgene and other institutions. Issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Standardization Administration of China, it provides unified guidelines and specifications for the industry. Rocgene is honored to participate in its formulation and contribute to the performance standardization of real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR instruments.



With high sensitivity, high specificity, high throughput and easy operation, fluorescent PCR technology has been widely used in medical diagnosis, gene expression research, virus detection and other fields, becoming an indispensable tool in life science research. For years, the real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR instrument market was dominated by imported brands. However, the lack of relevant standards has restricted industry development. The newly implemented standard GB/T 42753-2023 General Rules for Performance Evaluation of Real-time Fluorescent Quantitative PCR Instruments regulates temperature control performance, fluorescence detection performance, accuracy, safety and other aspects of real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR instruments. It supports the healthy development of the bioanalysis industry and smooth implementation of routine testing, and plays an important role in improving the overall quality and core competitiveness of domestic products.
