New Starting Point

The 15th China Bioindustry Convention, co-hosted by the People's Government of Hubei Province, 18 national-level societies (associations) including the Chinese Society of Biotechnology, and China Science and Technology News Service, was grandly held on June 10, 2023 at the Optics Valley Convention and Exhibition Center in Wuhan, Hubei Province. Dai Tao, Deputy General Manager of Rocgene, was invited to attend.

With the theme of "New Pattern, New Starting Point: Building a New Engine for Bioeconomy Development", this year's convention featured high-level bioeconomy forums, thematic sub-forums, and large-scale professional exhibitions. It showcased the latest developments in the biological field, promoted China's bioindustry policies, and advanced the high-quality development of the bioeconomy.

Signing Ceremony

After the opening ceremony, a signing ceremony for major bioindustry projects in Hubei Province was held. A total of 67 key projects were signed with a total value of 39.7 billion yuan, covering key development areas of the bioindustry such as innovative biopharmaceuticals, specialty APIs, high-end medical devices, biological services, and large health products. Dai Tao, Deputy General Manager of Rocgene, signed the major project on behalf of Rocgene at the ceremony.
